Working in digital data for the last 15 years, Matt Bentley has worked extensively across both Adobe and Google digital analytics and marketing suites. He spent the first 11 years of his career working client-side; running digital data collection and analytics for a number of large companies. The last 4 years have been spent agency-side consulting for a wide range of enterprise-level businesses, heading up the digital data team at Loop Horizon. Providing strategic direction; defining tech-stacks and digital data architecture; designing and building data layers; managing TMS implementations; deploying a wide range of vendor tags; migrating clients to server-side implementations; configuring analytics tools to meet client needs; innovating, implementing and running ObservePoint deployments; running reporting, analysis and dashboarding; running ID resolution programs; enabling ETL of digital data sets and advocating connectivity between digital and offline data; and helping clients orchestrate against their digital data to deliver real business outcomes (for example, using digital data in first-party data marketing programs). In short – the whole gamut, from data definition and collection right through to marketing orchestration and revenue generation. Matt is driven to move digital data collection and analytics teams from providing a secondary or tertiary business function to delivering direct revenue generation.
Steve has been working with digital data for over 20 years both client side and for the last 11 years via DMPG, a leading service provider in the digital data collection and activation space. With well over 2,000 successful data tag deployments in that time, Steve will bring a lot of experience and context around the importance of data governance and quality. He will be sharing some of his most relevant observations pertaining to the value of data quality as well as leaving you with some key recommendations for how you can achieve greater data value within your organisation. Just don't ask Steve about how he got to the EDGE conference unless you like talking about epic cycling routes (and the data required to make those possible).
