James Lawrence is known as the Iron Cowboy. This is the nickname that he received from the public after he started to wear a cowboy hat during races to be recognized by his children. Originally from Calgary, Canada, he now lives in Utah with his wife Sunny and their five children. With two Guinness world records under his belt, James and his family attempted to do something every person deemed impossible, the 50/50/50. But that didn’t fulfill him. As of June 8, 2021, James completed what the team likes to call the Conquer 100. 100 consecutive full distance triathlons. This journey was created to empower people around the world to do their own “hard.” Sports Illustrated ranked James in the top 50 fittest freaks with Lebron James and Connor McGregor, two of James' favorite athletes. RedBull declares that “when it comes to endurance, he is unstoppable” and Success magazine named him “The Most Enduring Man In The World.” He has redefined the definition of impossible, defied logic, and is here today to share his journey with you: ladies and gentlemen, James Lawrence, The Iron Cowboy.
Richard Calentine is a Senior Customer Success Value Engineer at Adobe Federal, specializing in assisting Federal, Civilian, State & Local, and Canadian agencies in navigating the intricacies of value assessment. Over the past four years, Richard has utilized ObservePoint to provide invaluable insights to his clients, enabling them to comprehend their customer experience, troubleshoot issues related to slow-loading pages, address cookie privacy concerns, and optimize PDF document management. With an impressive tenure of eleven years at Adobe, Richard has dedicated the last seven years to supporting the Public Sector.
Rebecca's path to privacy compliance has been slightly unconventional. After spending close to 20 years in the Digital Analytics B2B space, Rebecca has transitioned completely to Privacy compliance since joining Rubrik as Senior Privacy Program Manager. Her extensive knowledge of marketing, sales, and analytics data and tech stacks, coupled with expertise in the data privacy landscape allows her to support the end-to-end privacy cycle for marketing and sales teams. Rebecca's background helps her understand both the business objectives along with the importance of web governance when it comes to a compliant website experience and overall 1st party data strategy.
Brian Fielbrandt is the Director of Insights and Analytics at Pollard Banknote Limited, where he works with North American and European lotteries to establish and maintain reliable clickstream analytics resources. He has a robust background in marketing analytics and research, having spent 7 years at Michigan Lottery. Brian holds an MBA from the University of Michigan-Flint, bringing strong analytical skills and strategic insights to his roles. His expertise in leveraging data for business growth and decision-making makes him a valuable asset in the analytics and marketing fields.
John Pestana, co-founder and CEO of ObservePoint, has established himself as a visionary leader in the digital analytics sector. With a keen understanding of the digital landscape, John has successfully guided ObservePoint to become the leading player in web governance solutions, providing automated website and analytics tag verifi cation services. Before ObservePoint, he co-founded Omniture, which became a pivotal force in online marketing analytics before its acquisition by Adobe in 2009. John holds a degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University and is in the Silicon Slopes Hall of Fame. This prominent Utah-based non-profit recognizes leaders in innovation and community improvement. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to innovation continue to drive his company's growth and influence in optimizing online data accuracy and reliability.
Dave is the Chief Technology Officer of ObservePoint. Previously, Dave has led software engineering teams in healthcare technology, HR technology, and Amazon Alexa. Dave has over 20 years of experience with the web platform. In his spare time, Dave hosts the Soft Skills Engineering podcast answering career questions for engineers and teaching soft skills to a technical audience.
Rob Clarke is the Chief Product Officer at ObservePoint where he has led their evolution into the premiere web governance platform for auditing website experiences, data collection, and privacy compliance. He co-founded Strala in 2017, a digital experience data platform, later acquired by ObservePoint. He has two decades of experi ence in product management and consulting in the digital experience and analytics industry, including previous positions at Adobe and Omniture. Hailing from Cincinnati Ohio, he has no shame admitting his love for the weird chocolatey, beanless phenomena that is Cincinnati chili.
J. D. has spent more than 20 years driving growth for software technology companies. His love and passion lie in the building of sales teams and mentoring professionals. J. D. chaired the Sales Executive Peer-to-Peer Forum for the Utah Technology Council for more than five years, mentoring CEOs and revenue leaders across the Wasatch front. He is a mentor with Utah Valley University Wrestling and currently serves as its chair. J. D. and his wife Kristi are raising their family of five children in Saratoga Springs, UT.
For more than 15 years, Kyle has been building teams and fueling growth at high-growth technology companies, including: Domo, Pluralsight, Talkdesk, and more. His pragmatic approach to team organization, growth, and operational excellence has enabled him to build world-class teams that operate efficiently and maximize spend in all channels and across all marketing teams. In his “down time,” Kyle’s trying to chase down his five energetic and adventurous kids, and he loves to travel and experience as much of the outdoors as possible.
Cameron is a veteran of the marketing analytics, digital advertising, and enterprise software industries. Now in his fifth year with ObservePoint, Cameron plays an active role in product management, corporate strategy, and GTM execution. Prior to his time at ObservePoint, Cameron spent 13 years working for Adobe (via the Omniture acquisition) and gained experience in account management, consulting, and technical sales before establishing himself as a leader in product management, technical marketing, and business strategy. His career has included multiple overseas assignments and collaborating with marketers and technologists on five continents.
Mike is a seasoned professional with a robust background in product management, owning and launching several new products. Prior to this role Mike showcased exemplary performance as a Customer Success Manager at ObservePoint. With a notable tenure at Vivint, Mike acquired extensive expertise in business intelligence that drives his metric-based approach to this day. Alongside his professional achievements, Mike enjoys time engag ing in sports, with a particular passion for mountain biking, golf, and pickle ball.
Clint specializes in product analytics, helping ObservePoint understand how customers are using our products and how we can improve their experience. With over 13 years of experience on the ObservePoint platform, Clint has had a major hand in the growth & improvement of the ObservePoint platform since its inception. Clint keeps busy with his six children, loving wife, three dogs, and an extremely long list of hobbies: elk hunting, hiking, mountain biking, snow skiing, water skiing, archery, and canyoneering. (Pretty standard for any proud Utahan!)
Jarrod Wilbur is a Technical Product Manager at ObservePoint. He has been with ObservePoint since 2018 and spends his days building out prototypes of new uses, features, products, and integrations for ObservePoint. He’s what you might call an engineer’s nightmare and a CSM’s dream. Jarrod enjoys the same slew of outdoor activities most Utah residents do, but if you see him around, ask him about his IMDB web scraper app.
Chris Hawkes has been with ObservePoint for 5 years. He spent much of that time as Team Lead of the Customer Success Team and has worked with many of ObservePoint's most ambitious and involved customers to create automated testing for analytics, tagging, privacy compliance, and more, on hundreds of Fortune 500 company domains. During his time with ObservePoint, he also studied QA Automation at Dev Mountain, a coding boot camp here in Utah, where he familiarized himself with the principles of front-end testing using software such as Selenium Webdriver. He enjoys spending his time with his wife and 2-year-old daughter, as well as enjoying hobbies such as canyoneering and jiu jitsu.
Macey is an Arizona native turned Utah-enthusiast. She has been with ObservePoint since 2022 and has endless energy for creating connections with customers. Macey comes from several years of customer service & sales experience and embodies “customer obsessed” every. Single. Day. Macey has a goal to snowboard at every resort on the Ikon Ski pass (which is hundreds of places, world wide!) and attends at least one concert every month.
Jared Paxton is a Software Engineer turned Technical Customer Success Manager at ObservePoint. He excels at devising tailor-made solutions for clients, whether by leveraging standard features or innovating new uses of the platform. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2-year-old-son, as well as tennis, pickleball, board games, and long distance running. Jared enjoyed success early in life, potentially peaking as a 3-time pinewood derby champion in his Cub Scout days. Jared is a dedicated (but often disappointed) Utah Jazz fan.

With a background in sales, Masen transitioned into the realm of Customer Success three years ago, leveraging his expertise to deliver exceptional value to clients.
